It doesn’t matter which of the tables you choose to play at, the game is based upon the same basic principles. The aim is to build a hand with a value as close to 21 as possible but without exceeding 21 and going bust. At the end of a round, as long as your hand is close to 21 than the dealer’s hand is, then you will win a payout.
That said, you will find a number of different types of table here, and each offers something a little different. Here you can find a brief guide to all of the Live Blackjack games that we have to offer so that you can pick the perfect one for you.
Regular Blackjack Tables
The vast majority of the tables offer a standard form of Blackjack that you might find in any casino across the world. The games have labels such as Blackjack A, Blackjack B, Blackjack C, and so on. However, this is just a way to donate the different tables; they all offer exactly the same experience. There may be some variation in the betting limits, so you can choose the right one for your budget, and of course, you can always choose which of the dealers you want to play with.
The tables have seven seats, just as Blackjack games do at land casinos. The game is played with eight decks of cards, and it features standard European rules. This means that Double Down is available on all hand totals, you can split hands, and the dealer will always stand on 17. The games give you 15 seconds to place your bet between each round, and this helps to keep the action moving.
The tables also offer at least two side bets, the 21+3 and the Perfect Pairs. The 21+3 side bet is on the player’s first two cards combining with the dealer’s up card to form a Suited Three of a Kind, a Straight Flush, a Three of a Kind, a Straight, or a Flush.
The Perfect Pair side bet is on the first two cards dealt to a player forming one of three types of pair, a Perfect Pair (two identical cards), a Coloured Pair (two cards of the same value and colour), or a Mixed Pair (two cards of the same value).
Another feature common to all the tables is Bet Behind. If the table you want to play at is full, then you can place bets on one of the seated players. You cannot affect their decisions, but you can share in their winnings. Players that are on a winning streak are marked with a gold medal. You can then place a small bet on that player and potentially share in their success. You can even use this feature when seated at a table.
You will also find a number of VIP tables offering regular Blackjack, these simply have higher betting limits, and there is a range of them to ensure that everyone can find one suited to their bankroll. At the very top of the ladder are the Salon Prive tables where you will take on the dealer one on one, and can make requests for the cards to be shuffled or even for a change of dealer.
Speed Blackjack
If you want to cram as much Blackjack action into as short a time as possible then Speed Blackjack is definitely the game for you. It follows the same rules as regular Blackjack, but there is one important difference, the dealing order when it is time for you to make a decision.
Each player’s first two cards are dealt as normal. However, as soon as the dealing is complete, all players are given the opportunity to Hit, Double Down or Split simultaneously. The player who makes the fastest decision will receive their next card first. This adds a new kind of tactical thinking to the game whilst dramatically speeding things up as players vie to be the first.
Blackjack Party
This is the perfect game for those who are new to Blackjack and are just looking to have a little fun. It has very low betting limits and with its two hosts, it has a party-style atmosphere. There is music, engaging chat, and game guidance from the dealers. If you don’t want to worry about playing with perfect strategy, but are looking for a sociable experience without having to bet large amounts, then this is certainly the game for you.
H2: Infinite Blackjack
As you know, a traditional Blackjack table has seven seats. However, Infinite Blackjack is able to welcome an unlimited number of players to the table, all of whom will be betting on the same initial two-card hand. Furthermore, thanks to the game’s clever design, each player has complete freedom to play the hand exactly as he or she wants to.
The game has low betting limits, so that everyone can enjoy it. It follows the standard rules of the game, but there is one additional rule, the Six Card Charlie. This means that if a player builds a hand of six cards without exceeding 21, then they will automatically win, regardless of what the dealer is holding. The game also offers four side bets, the 21+3 and Perfect Pairs and described above, as well as the Hot 3 and the Bust It. The Hot 3 side bet pays out according to the total of the player’s two cards and the dealer’s up card while the Bust It side bet is a bet on the dealer going bust and it offers payouts of up to 250:1.
Free Bet Blackjack
Free Bet Blackjack is another game that can accommodate an infinite number of players at the table. It is based upon the most popular version of Blackjack found in land-casinos, and it gives players the chance to Double Down and Split for free in certain situations.
If your hand total is hard 9, 10 or 11, then you will have the chance to Double Down for free (a hand is hard if it does not contain an Ace). Furthermore, if you are dealt two cards with the same value and they are not worth 10, then you can Split them for free. Theoretically, it is possible to enjoy up to seven free bets per hand as you could Split three times and Double Down on all of them. Of course, the game does compensate for this, if the dealer has 22 then player bets are returned as a push, unless they are holding Blackjack. Furthermore, the game also offers the Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3 and Bust It side bets.
Power Blackjack
Power Blackjack is another game that can accommodate an infinite number of players at the table. It follows the regular Blackjack rules, but there are some important differences. To begin with, the game is played with eight decks of cards but all the 9s and 10s have been removed (the picture cards remain). This means that there are 64 fewer cards in the shoe, meaning that you will have to adapt your strategy accordingly.
However, the biggest difference in this game is that it gives you the ability to Double, Triple or Quadruple Down on any two initial cards, even after a Split. This means that if you feel you have a particularly strong starting hand, you have the chance to massively increase your winnings. In addition, the game also offers the Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3 and Bust It side bets, but there is no Six Card Charlie rule.
